[ she comes to and sits up, rubbing at her face with both hands, and giving the room and once over. getting to her feet she staggers a little, but otherwise she's fine. this place is deeeefinitely strange. ]

[ for now, she's going to ignore the transmission, because she's more interested in rifling ( or attempting to ) around in those storage crates. ]

[The tracker pad beeps a little more insistently, the screen now flashing.

The crates are all bolted down, looks like you need a tool to open them.]

[ can the tool be bullets? ]

[ ugh, GOD, she'll answer the damn tracker pad... as she hops onto her spider. look, she can multitask. ]

[ pew pew pew. attempting to fire on the crates. ]

[The innocent crates that have never done anything wrong in their lives are now riddled with lightly smoking laser holes. Presumably so is whatever was inside.]

[The screen suddenly sparks to life, showing an image of one of the Force Captains (a gruff old fella who is decidedly not human and also entirely seafoam green) as he stares down at you and recites in a gruff, even voice:

“There you are. Cadet, your assignments for the day are available, I will transmit them to your tracker pad. Ensure that you complete each task quickly and Lord Catra will be sure to reward your efforts. Fail, and. . . well, don’t fail.

The equipment powering the drop hammer in weapons manufacturing has been giving us trouble today, so you are to report to Level 2 to the Forge to inspect and, if necessary, repair it. If you complete your tasks early, do a sweep of the prison, as well. We’ve had reports of rebel activity in the area.

Oh — and to reward you for your performance the other day, I’ve decided to be generous. Should you need anything, you can call on me, but only once. My patience is limited, after all.

That’s all.”

The screens blinks out. A list of objectives appears on your screen.

There are doors to the West, East, and South.]

[ she is going to read the objectives in a minute... time to attempt to raid the crates a second time, bullet riddled mess that they are or not! ]

[She can now raid the crates. But inside is just half-melted wreckage of whatever tech used to be in there, because you shot it, remember?]

...

[ she is still going to take some of it, because throwing shit at people is still an absolutely valid way to solve a problem. dumps a handful onto her main spider!bot and then goes to check out the map. ]

[There is now trash in your spiderbot. While it has no expressions, you somehow get the feeling it is displeased.]

[It's a very basic map. The door to the West leads to a room labelled as "War Room". The door to the East leads to the "Training Room", and to the South it's labelled as the Lift.]

Hey. [ she is going to kneel down in front of it. ] I'm only taking this stuff along to throw at people. [ she pats the spider bot, but, fine, she'll take some of it out and throw it on the ground. she'll just keep one or two things. ]

Anyway, let's head to the war room. Sounds like a good place to find more weapons or something. [ to the war room! ]

[You take the hallway that leads to the War Room!]

[Holy shit!

Point to her Horde not!spider.]

Is that a mech?

[ from atop the not!spider as she fires on the crates. ]

Nah, but let's call it similar. Hey there, handsome~

[Just watching her with a raised eyebrow]

Well, that's one way to do it.

Bullets are a tool as much as they are a weapon.

Where are you headed? [ hops off the spider to see what she can find in there. ]

I was thinking the War Room first. Trying to find the person in charge and all.

Though I suspect we'll need higher clearance for that.

I was thinking the same, but only because I figured there might be some more weapons in there. We could give it a shot. [ gives him a smirk. ]

I guess we'll see.

[Actually wait no]

Don't answer that.

[ she just laughs and laughs and laughs. ]
