[This room looks like a regular BARiTONES dorm room, with standard decor and furnishings. The room is scattered with various remnants of party attendance, however: empty wine glasses, an extravagant masquerade outfit tossed over a chair, long evening gloves on the floor, and so on. What’s notable is a large pile of masks in the corner, full-face and all ornate, like they too came from a masquerade ball. When you step on the floor, the sound is odd: sometimes, it’s a pleasant, calming sound like wind in a wood flute, but occasionally it’s a loud, alarming shriek that puts you on edge.

The closet door is slightly ajar.]

[There doesn't seem to be any particular source of the sound. Maybe it's just the floorboards?

In the closet there is something that looks like a very large oversized thermometer, only with clear liquid instead of red and with a cap on top. It has no labels, only notches, and it’s bolted to the floor. The water level is currently low.]
