memory: messing with adora
[First half of this memory can be viewed here.]
[This memory opens in some sort of shift drifting through the stars. That's right, they're suddenly in space for some reason! The ship is fairly minimalist, all smooth panels with just one seat in the centre -- apparently it's meant to be flown solo, and it's hard to see how the controls are supposed to work.
Catra comes into the bridge to see Adora sitting in the command chair with Glimmer to her right and Bow behind. And, unlike all of her previous memories, her hair is very short, like a pixie cut.]
Catra: What's going on? Oooooooh, are we messing with Adora?
[She comes over to vault herself over the arm of the chair and land sitting right in Adora's lap.]
Adora: Catra, do you have to sit right there?
Catra: What? I'm not doing anything.
[The group then calls to Adora to concentrate, and Catra starts waving her tail (also she's purring), smacking Adora in the nose. She brushes it aside before reaching out and concentrating, and a shimmer of light starts to form in front of her hand as her eyes glow. Then she's interrupted by Entrapta shouting -- she's with a guy who looks kind of like Hordak, only all in white.]
Entrapta: This way! Oh, hi Adora, don't mind us.
Adora: Entrapta, do you have to do that in here?
Entrapta: Yes! This is where the signal is strongest. We're less than a day out from Etheria. We'll be in range to send a message to the Rebellion soon.
[Glimmer says something about meeting her father for the first time in a long time, and Catra gets up off Adora's lap, crossing over to hop up on a panel and look out the window. Adora follows her.]
Adora: Ready to be home?
Catra: Not really. [Though when she sees Adora's disappointed look, she amends that.] . . .Okay, fine, maybe.
[The others join them, and they start to wonder what is happening on their planet right now.]
