The Tower Nest

[Set up on the open-air 54th floor deck of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower is yet another nest:



The observation deck gives an impressive view of the city -- Mori Tower is the 6th tallest building in Tokyo standing at 238 metres/781 feet.

A corner has been draped with curtains and string lights, a couple futons spread on the ground underneath with pillows and blankets for a cozy little corner. Kohime brought her training staffs here, so there's a pair on the other end of the deck where there's open space to train, should anyone want to, with a few med kits set aside just in case of any accidents.

It looks like the conbini was more or less emptied out here as well -- piles of bottled drinks, snacks, instant noodles, basically anything that doesn't absolutely need to be refrigerated to stay okay to eat.

There's also some plants set up:

- An apple tree
- Venus fly trap
- a bonsai tree
- a large cactus
- blue forget-me-nots

It's an easy 25 minute ride on the Oedo Line from the hotel to get there.]

You probably don't remember it. We used to climb the buildings in the Fright Zone –– sometimes it was a race, and I totally won most of them –– and then we'd stay on top. You'd stuff ration bars in your pockets to bring, they were all squished –– but we ate them anyway. . . Shadow Weaver used to get so mad––



[Mostly, you know, at Catra.]

––But we did it anyway. And there was one place we always went to no one else knew anything about. Just. . . you know. To talk. Or. Or whatever.

[Rubbing at her arm, extremely self-conscious.]

Anyway, I thought it'd be nice to have someplace to go here. No one else knows about it. Just you and me.

[maybe they could get through the being on the opposite sides of the war. Maybe this was a good starting point for that.]

[She's sitting away from the futons and plant and things, in the corner, her back to the observation deck entrance as she faces the windows, looking out over the city, her tail flicking anxiously.]

[Her ears have been turned back towards Aster pretty much as soon as she was able to see her, so she's not surprised -- she doesn't actually look at her until she's approaching, though.]
