[The furniture has been shoved up against the walls in this room, leaving a wider floorspace that is constructed of a soft, springy board — a good space for tumbling, if you want! The bed looks cozy, with sheets, a plush comforter, and an extra blanket and several pillows, though it’s unmade. A little stuffed dragon sits there, cute but for the fact that the teeth in its mouth seem very real, sharp and needle-like. There’s a little kitchenette in the corner, with a pot set aside and chopped ingredients on the counter, as if someone left it mid meal prep. It smells warm and welcoming. The knives scattered about the room are less so.

There is something that looks like an oversized thermometer in the closet, only with clear liquid instead of red and with a cap on top. It has no labels, only notches, and it’s bolted to the floor. The water level is currently medium.]

[This room looks like a regular BARiTONES dorm room, with standard decor and furnishings. The room is scattered with various remnants of party attendance, however: empty wine glasses, an extravagant masquerade outfit tossed over a chair, long evening gloves on the floor, and so on. What’s notable is a large pile of masks in the corner, full-face and all ornate, like they too came from a masquerade ball. When you step on the floor, the sound is odd: sometimes, it’s a pleasant, calming sound like wind in a wood flute, but occasionally it’s a loud, alarming shriek that puts you on edge.

The closet door is slightly ajar.]

[There doesn't seem to be any particular source of the sound. Maybe it's just the floorboards?
