[ grins, and then spreads the paper out, so she can start drawing. ]

Let’s see. Where should we start our adventure?

[ hums, thoughtful, but inevitably starts on one end of all of the sheets, drawing her and kohime sitting atop her mech holding hands and looking happy. she draws a building behind them, their hideout, and a beach to the other side. ] We can go anywhere.

[She watches, completely engrossed. ]

I wanna go somewhere tall!

Hm...

[ the next piece of paper has them in the air, still on her mech, because they’re flying! she draws a beautiful sky around them with puffy clouds and birds. she even puts in a sun and a rainbow! ]

Somewhere tall, coming in, but we have to get there first.

[ the two girls have their hands up while riding the mech, because they’re clearly having fun. ]

[Crowding in close, watching as she draws. ]

I think I might need some help for this next part.

Let’s draw our super awesome castle fortress together.

[ drapes an arm around her, so they can work on it together. she’ll start though, by making the outline. ]

[After a brief hesitation, she draws a big, arching door that would probably be comically big in real life. ]

[ she gives her a chance to get the door in and then she’s going to draw come nice big windows next to it. ]

This place is super tall. Probably the tallest building ever.

Then we should be able to climb to the top!

[She adds bumps to one of the outside walls, like she’d scale it the same way her and Adora climbed the Forge. ]

Good call.

You’ll have to show me to climb as well as you, otherwise I’m going to need my mech to get to the top.

[ she’s going to keep decorating it until their amazing castle fortress is complete! ]

Ready to head inside?

There’s an inside?

Of course.

[ she brings a fresh piece of paper in front of them and starts drawing something like their hideout but on a much bigger scale. she doodles a bike they could ride together, some fish and bacon they could eat, some things to climb, some places to nap, she tries to think of a little bit of everything. ]

We can’t forget us. What should we be doing? What’s your favorite thing?

Me? I don’t think I have a favourite thing.

How about something you’ve always wanted to do?

[Looking a little unsure, she just. Draws herself and D.Va together, smiling.

She just wants to be with her people okay that's literally all.]

[ that's fine. ]

Now that's what I call perfect.

Okay.

[She tips her head to the side, studying them a moment, and then curls her tail around herself and returns her attention to D.Va.]

Can I keep them?

I'd like that.

I thought we could make a little display of stuff we made together.

[ and she's got, like, one other thing she could show her... thanks to hurricane! she'll make her an origami dragon. ]

Rawr~

[She laughs, delighted. It definitely didn't occur to her you could fold things out of paper –– she reaches to take it into her hands, holding it overly delicately.]

I'm glad you like it.

[ ruffles her hair. ]

Here, let me make one more. They can represent you and me.

[ starts folding another one. ]

[She picks up another piece of paper and tries to follow along.]

[ she'll go slow and explain each step. this is kind of hard and it had taken her a bit to learn, but hurricane had been patient with her, so she had managed to do it. she'll be just as patient with kohime/catra, and because she's a smart little cookie, she's bound to get it too. ]

[She does, those hers is a little sloppy and not quite right. But it's her first one, and she is a child.]

In no time at all we'll have a family of these little guys!

[ she gives her a smile though it fades after a moment, because she considers asking about the stuff she took again. but then what kohime told her echoes in her head, that she might not like the result. ]

[ maybe. maybe finding out the answer is a bad idea. ]

[ she lets her gaze drop to the ground as she frowns, because that makes it seem like she fucked up and, well, she probably absolutely did. she stole stuff, attempted kidnapping, did a murder, ... ]

[She seems to notice the sudden change in mood, placing her hand on D.Va's arm.]

. . .What's wrong?
