purrrnicious | Heart Game: Run #3

[She looks a little alarmed, scampering up with her tail swishes anxiously.]

What did you do? You're all. . .

[She just kind of. Gestures to all of her. Because, you know, all of her.]

[ she kind of expected this reaction. ]

I... got in a couple of scraps,
but it's alright.

I'm fine.

I'm kind of a magnet for trouble and danger and all of that sort of stuff. [ a half hearted laugh. ] I... didn't mean to frighten you. I tried my best to clean up beforehand, but there was only so much I could do. [ she bows her head. ] I'm sorry.

[She looks concerned, raising a hand as if reaching out for D.Va, but ultimately doesn't as she can't be sure she won't hurt her.]

What? I'm okay. You're not scary at all.

[ she kneels down. ]

Do you think I could get a hug then?
I think that'd make me feel better...

[She nods solemnly, and with the sort of determined concentration only a kid can pull off, she places her arms around her without pressing on the bandages and tucks herself against D.Va, letting her tail loop around her (as far as it will go, anyway, she's a smol so it's shorter than usual.)]

[ she pulls her in for a hug and does the same, loops her tail around her to secure the little smol in place for a few extra seconds. ] ...hey, thanks, I think I'm feeling better already.

You're really something special, huh? [ she leans back and boops her on the nose. ]

. . .I'm not really, though.

[Stated as a fact, without emotion.]

...well I certainly think so.

Older you means a lot to me, which, ah, reminds me.

Do you think you could help me with something? I've been told I should show these to you and you may be able to give me some answers. [ going to dig out all of the stuff she took. the rings, the snake, and the locket. ]

[She looks them over with interest.]

Um, what do you want to know?

I guess I'm most curious about what's inside the locket. I couldn't find a key, so I was wondering if you had it.

And I saw your drawings back there too. Very nice~ I had no idea you were such an artist.

You like them?

[Her tail swishes, pleased, and she’s completely distracted from the locket question in favour of dashing back to her piles of pictures, gathering up the ones involving D.Va. They feature her and D.Va doing cool stuff like riding in cars, standing triumphantly on top of buildings, riding a blob with a long neck and wings that’s probably supposed to be Blue Eyes, etc. They looking smiling and happy in all of them. She brings them over to proudly show them off. ]

[ ...dammit. a- ah well. ]

[ she just sets the stuff down and to the side, so she can look at all of the drawings. ] I love them. And, wow, look at these! We're a couple of badasses, huh. [ she chuckles, grinning from ear to ear as she looks at each one. ]

Want to draw some more together? Maybe we can make a special place to hang all the ones we do as a team.

Uh huh. I have stuff we can use.

[She fetches some paper and pens for D.Va to draw, too. ]

[ smiles, but, first, she's going to take one of the papers and fold it into a crown. ] For you~

[She accepts it, sniffing at it curiously.]

What is it?

A crown!

You put it on your head.

[She puts it on, and then looks at D.Va. ]

Like this?

Just like that.

[ grins, and then spreads the paper out, so she can start drawing. ]

Let’s see. Where should we start our adventure?

[ hums, thoughtful, but inevitably starts on one end of all of the sheets, drawing her and kohime sitting atop her mech holding hands and looking happy. she draws a building behind them, their hideout, and a beach to the other side. ] We can go anywhere.

[She watches, completely engrossed. ]

I wanna go somewhere tall!

Hm...

[ the next piece of paper has them in the air, still on her mech, because they’re flying! she draws a beautiful sky around them with puffy clouds and birds. she even puts in a sun and a rainbow! ]

Somewhere tall, coming in, but we have to get there first.

[ the two girls have their hands up while riding the mech, because they’re clearly having fun. ]

[Crowding in close, watching as she draws. ]

I think I might need some help for this next part.

Let’s draw our super awesome castle fortress together.

[ drapes an arm around her, so they can work on it together. she’ll start though, by making the outline. ]

[After a brief hesitation, she draws a big, arching door that would probably be comically big in real life. ]

[ she gives her a chance to get the door in and then she’s going to draw come nice big windows next to it. ]

This place is super tall. Probably the tallest building ever.

Then we should be able to climb to the top!

[She adds bumps to one of the outside walls, like she’d scale it the same way her and Adora climbed the Forge. ]
